Welcome to my Blog Today marks the inaugural post of my blog, Buffo the Toolman, a real-time chronicle of how this financial analyst, who cannot draw a straight line, let alone read his own handwriting, found himself bumbling through, insatiably, numerous DIY escapades. Introducing Buffo the Toolman That’s me, Basili Alukos, pictured below as first-time tool owner. The word “Buffo” is an homage to my Baba (Greek for Dad), who passed away eight years ago. My family would holler “Buffo” to each other, leaving bewildered Greeks laughing at a family with adults yelling “fool” to each other as a sign of endearment. I’m sure you’re calling rubbish on the first-time tool owner claim, as this is a current photo of a full-grown man.
